When selecting the next trench drain product for your project, the first thing that you consider may not be fire resistance, but it should be a factor. The NFPA requires trench drains that are non-flammable, and for good reason! Empty trench drains are often where flammable liquids collect and that can create a dangerous environment. Therefore, we need to ensure the trench drain we select for our project is nonflammable.
